MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the 4th Annual Shake, Rattle, and Roll Classic Car Show – May 17 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm here in the Ridgecrest Parking Lot. There will be food, fun and games to entertain the children while you roam and look at all the wonderful nostalgic hot rods, imports and trucks of yesteryear! 2,000+ people are expected to attend this annual event. There is no charge for the general public. We are in need of sponsors. Please contact Bro. Joe at ext. 22 or jchapman@rcbc.org, if you would like for your business to sponsor this Car Show. All proceeds will go to Ridgecrest Missions.

Faith InDeed Foundation would like to invite you to be a vendor for the Spring Shopping Event in the Ridgecrest Activity Center on Saturday, May 17th.  This event is in conjunction with the Shake, Rattle, and Roll Car Show which is to be a fund raiser for Ridgecrest Missions. Spring Musical – April 20 – 10:30 am Worship. “3:16 the numbers of hope” is a worship musical celebrating our salvation. The worship service will feature video clips of testimonies from Ridgecrest members telling the story of how they came to know the Lord. Beginning March 30th we will have an area set up for members to stop by and record their brief story. The videos will help us celebrate what God has done and will also paint a picture of salvation for those who are invited to the service who don’t know the Lord.

THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE WORSHIP SERVICE - NO SUNDAY SCHOOL OR SMALL GROUPS.

                                                                            MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Ennis, Montana Mission Trip – July 12 – 19.  Help us build a two story sanctuary and education space - 4,000 sq. ft. each floor.  Fly out on the 12th and return on the 19th.  Contact James Ellington at jelling607@aol.com or Mike McCool at mmccool@rcbc.org for information. 

 

URUGUAY Mission Trip Opportunity - If you would like to go to Uruguay this summer, PLEASE CONTACT BUDDY KNOTT.  This trip will focus on the children of Uruguay, using sports and backyard Bible studies.

Gideons International is an interdenominational association of Christian business and professional men who are members of Protestant/evangelical churches. If you would like to be involved in partnering with our local Gideons to place Bibles in locations in and around our community, please contact Bro. Phil's office at 601-853-1090, ext. 25.

Community Impact Opportunity — Krista Cottage Family Project - April 5th – We are partnering with MadCAAP to finish a cottage in Canton.  This will be a great time to work together as a family. NICARAGUA MISSIONS

Hygiene Kits – We are collecting a different item each month. We are collecting Toothbrushes during the month of March. A collection box is next to the Nicaragua Mission kiosk in the walkway.

Special Needs Ministry needs VOLUNTEERS FOR the STARs PROGRAM and PARENTS NIGHT OUT (PNO). These outreach ministries are sponsored by Ridgecrest Family Ministry. We are looking for very special volunteers who would like to receive a blessing by working with our very special people and their families. We would especially like to have High School and Middle School students to interact with our STARs (Special Teens and Adults @ Ridgecrest). The next scheduled activity is Parent’s Night Out which includes ages 3 through adult-age, on Saturday, April 19th, 5:30 – 8:30 pm. These activities are theme-based and lots of fun! Volunteers are needed for Home Outreach Ministry, to be in touch with members of our Ridgecrest Family who may need your encouragement or assistance. Contact Jeanne Crasto at  601-668-3550 if you would like to serve in this way.

Labels Needed - Baptist Children's Village needs one million Campbell soup or spaghetti labels in order to acquire a van.  Please bring your labels to the growth ministry office in the educational building.  Thank you for your continued support!

MISSION FRIENDS (Pre-schoolers age 3 through K-5) - Meets every Sunday at 6:00 pm. Contact Stacie Albritton at ext. 37 for more information.

Deaf Ladies Bible Study Fellowship - Wednesdays - 6:00 p.m. - Room 313.

Deaf Bible Study - (Sunday School) - Sundays 9:00 am temporarily in Room 104.  Join us for Bible study and fellowship each Sunday morning.  Also, join us every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm in the Bride's Room.

SIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES - Wednesdays temporarily in Room 104. Join us if you are interested in learning American Sign Language (ASL). Contact Suzie Grothe at 601-853-1208 for more information.

                                                                         ICU MINISTRY

If you would like to volunteer to provide soup for the Baptist Hospital ICU Lunch on Mondays, please contact Charlane Wall @ 853-7889. This is a ministry opportunity that is filling a need and showing God's love for the people that have loved ones in the ICU.

Mark your Calendar for a fun night of fellowship - Ladies Night Out Spring Soiree!! – Thursday, April 10, 6:00 – 9:00 pm. MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST is every Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All men of the church are invited to attend and pray with us for the worship services and the needs of the church.  

“Iron Sharpens Iron” MEN'S BIBLE STUDY – Meets every Sunday morning at 8:00 in Room 104.  Come at 7:00 am for Prayer Breakfast and stay for Bible study. If you can’t make it for breakfast, join us at 8:00 in room 104!

Rainbow Trout Fishing at Jack’s Motel & Fishing Camp in Mountain View, Arkansas. Travel by Motorhome from April 28 – May 3rd, or by church van from April 30 – May 3. MEN IN PRAYER - First & third Tuesdays - 6:30 am - Sanctuary. Come and pray for our church leaders, ministries and families.  

HELPING HANDS MINISTRY - The mission of this ministry is to assist widows, single ladies, and elderly in our congregation with minor home repair needs. NEEDS: Volunteers, Project supplies, or Financial Support.  If you would like to help, contact David Morse at 601-291-7792.

                                                                              MUSIC MINISTRY  

Come and join our Adult Sanctuary Choir. Choir Practice is every Wednesday from 7:00 - approximately 8:30 pm.  Childcare is provided. Sing in the 9:00 or 10:30 am worship services on Sunday morning.

                                                                             PRISON MINISTRY

Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30 at the Rankin County Correctional Facility You can do one of two things: meet at old Winn-Dixie in Madison then travel to the prison as a group or look at the list in the work room under prison ministry and you will find names and addresses of new Christians.  We encourage you to write a letter of encouragement to the inmate(s).  Your identity and address will be protected.                                                                             SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY

Special Needs Sunday School class meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 in Room 102.  It is painted yellow, so we call it the "yellow room". All special needs folks of the community are invited to attend.

STARs (Special Teens & Adults at Ridgecrest) is an outreach program of the Ridgecrest Family Ministry. If you know of someone in the community who has a developmentally delayed child age 15+, please contact Beth Bennett at ext. 61, or bbennett@rcbc.org, or Melanie McKenzie at 856-3584, or mmckenzie@bellsouth.net . The next STARs activity is Next activity is Parent's Night Out, Saturday, April 19th, 5:30 - 8:30 pm. We will need volunteers to help at this exciting event. GUYS CANOE TRIP - Friday - Saturday, May 2 &3rd @ Seminary, MS - This father-son overnight trip will be a blast.  We will head down to the Okatoma river and spend the night at a lodge.  Dad's will cook dinner, and we will head out in the morning on the river!  This trip is for 6-12th grade and includes dinner, canoeing and overnight stay.  Cost $40, transportation provided and signup by paying at youth office. 

"In His Image" Youth Choir (All youth, grades 6 - 12) practices every Sunday afternoon at 4:45 and sings in the 10:30 am worship services as scheduled.
