Music Ministry at Ridgecrest Baptist Church ::

   Our worship philosophy at Ridgecrest places a high priority on seeking God in worship.  As we gather together, we connect with God by centering our minds and hearts on Him seeking His glory through praise, adoration, and thanksgiving.  At times in our worship, we see our sinfulness and are broken before God seeking cleansing.  At other times we understand that He has a task for us and we commit ourselves to His desires.  We believe that as we experience God's presence in worship that our lives will be changed and we will be empowered for serving Him.       

We understand our need to experience God's presence on a daily basis in personal quiet time.  Worship is not just an event on Sunday mornings, rather it is a lifestyle of communing with God, enjoying God, and seeking to glorify Him.  We are not focused on particular styles or formats, we believe worship is an issue of the heart.  True worship does not come as a result of singing the right "style" of music or following any particular order of service, believers connect with God when they sincerely, whole-heartedly seek Him in "spirit and in truth."  We pray that God will be known in a real way each time we gather for worship.  Below is a sampling of opportunities for service in our worship ministry.

Calling all Kids!!

Worship KidStyle is happening on Wednesday Nights. This exciting program is led by Staci O’Neal and will teach children about and involve them in worship using a variety of media and creative expression. Worship KidStyle will meet each week from 6:00-6:45 for children in grades 1-5.

PRESCHOOL CHILDREN’S CHOIR Preschoolers will have a great opportunity to learn about God through a musical experience on Wed. nights. Five year olds will meet in 210, four year olds in room 204 and three year olds will meet in room 205.
