Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to
obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to
the very end of the age. Our Mission at Ridgecrest is, “Transforming our world into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ to the fame of God.” We believe that this is what Jesus was speaking about in Matthew 28:19-20 and other verses where He shared His passion for the church’s ministry. Since it was His heart’s passion for His followers, then we feel that it should be ours. We invite you to join us in this great endeavor. Time is short. Eternity is long. Opportunity is limited. We need your help to complete our mission. Remember Isaiah’s response to God when asked to go fulfill his mission? It was, “Here am I, Lord, send me” (Ref: Isaiah 6:8). Do you remember Moses’ first response to God to go and fulfill his mission? It was, “Here am I, Lord, send Aaron” (paraphrased - Ref: Exodus 4:13-14). We want to encourage you not to be a Moses, but be an Isaiah and say with us, “Here I am, Lord, send me.” Come and join us on a mission trip in 2006. It will change the world and it will change your life.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have
shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit,
but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should
look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. |
