Ridgecrest has a time-honored reputation of ministering to those in need.  As you learn more about the church, you will find that a core value of our culture is the belief that serving others in the name of Jesus Christ is an honor.  To this end, our staff encourages the laity to become involved by serving within the church and on the local, national, and international mission fields.  To facilitate active lay ministries, the Lay Ministry Team offers Discover Your Ministry sessions throughout the year.  These sessions assist participants in discovering and implementing their unique spiritual gifts.  Ministry placement consulting is also offered.  Register now for one of our exciting scheduled sessions…it could change your life!

 

Discover Your Ministry Session Guide

1. Check the scheduled session dates and register for the session most convenient for you to attend.  Register early; seating is limited.
2. Click the Spiritual Gifts Survey link and print out a copy of the survey and an answer sheet.  Set aside about twenty minutes and follow the easy directions on the survey sheet.  The finished survey is comprehensive and unique to each individual.
3. On the session date, bring only the answer sheet with you to Room 305 in the Educational Building.
4. Each session lasts approximately one hour.  Because of the amount of material covered, each session must begin promptly at the scheduled time.  Please make every effort to arrive a few minutes early to get your session materials and find a seat.

TUTORS ARE NEEDED – At the request of Word of Christ Ministries we need volunteers to help tutor one day per week, for an hour and a half. Contact Jacob McGaugh at 601-573-3430 or Mike at ext 33 for information and to volunteer.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for Home Outreach Ministry to be in touch with members of our Ridgecrest Family who may need your encouragement or assistance. Contact Jeanne Crasto at 601-668-3550 if you would like to serve in this way.

LIBRARY BOOKS for the MS Gulf Coast Schools – Help replenish the library books that were lost during Hurricane Katrina. If you have children’s books or books suitable for an Elementary School Library and would like to contribute them, please bring them to the Church Growth Office. Thank you for your support.
